Frequently asked questions.

Are you a supplier or Manufacturer?

We are an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specializing in innovative steam heating and curing solutions for Ready Mix, Block / Brick, and Precast concrete plants. Located in Midland, Ontario, Canada, we produce our own products to meet the specific needs of our customers. Our focus on OEM ensures that we maintain full control over quality, performance, and customization, providing reliable and efficient equipment tailored to the unique demands of our customers.

Where do you ship your equipment?

We deliver throughout North America, including Canada, the US, and Mexico.

Do you have carry inventory?

We strive to maintain an adequate stock of components to meet customer demands promptly; however, due to the high consumption rate of our inventory, items are frequently depleted. As a result, much of our production operates on a build-to-order basis, ensuring that each solution is tailored precisely to the specifications and requirements of our clients while managing inventory efficiently. This approach allows us to deliver innovative steam heating and curing systems without compromising on quality or lead times.

Do you provide installation, service, or training?

At Steam Engineering, we specialize in manufacturing advanced steam heating and curing systems specifically tailored for Ready Mix, Block, Brick, and Precast concrete plants. While we do not handle the installation of the equipment ourselves, we provide comprehensive on-site and remote technical support to ensure your systems operate efficiently and without interruption. Additionally, we offer thorough start-up training programs to equip your team with the knowledge and skills needed to operate and maintain the systems effectively for optimal performance.

Is your equipment able to heat water?

Heating water is easily accomplished with direct sparge heating methods, providing efficient and consistent temperature control. Our systems integrate PLC automation, pump control, water level management, and temperature monitoring to ensure precise operation and enhanced reliability. This comprehensive approach allows for seamless process control tailored to your specific requirements, improving overall system performance in applications such as Ready Mix, Block, Brick, and Precast concrete plants.

Is your equipment a pressure vessel?

All equipment manufactured by Steam Engineering operates at pressures below 14.7 PSI, ensuring that none of our systems qualify as pressure vessels under regulatory standards. This design approach simplifies compliance requirements while maintaining safe and efficient steam heating and curing solutions. By operating at atmospheric or near-atmospheric pressures, our equipment minimizes the risk associated with high-pressure operation, enhancing reliability and ease of maintenance for all users.
